1. Who we are

By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

2. What we sell

Our products are cosmetics. They are not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing we sell is a substitute for care from a doctor or a dermatologist.

Everything published on this site — including The Science, the Journal, and the quizzes — is general information about how skin and ingredients behave. It is not medical advice, it is not personal to you, and it does not create any clinical relationship between us. If your skin concerns you, or you are taking prescribed medication, speak to a qualified professional. If you have a condition that is severe, painful, scarring or getting worse, do that before buying anything from us.

The quizzes on this site suggest products based on the answers you give. They are a shopping aid. They are not an assessment, a diagnosis, or an opinion about your skin.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from this site.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an email confirming dispatch, not when you place the order or when payment is taken.

We may refuse or cancel an order — for example where an item is out of stock, where we cannot ship to your address, where we suspect fraud, or where a price or description was clearly wrong. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

5. Prices and payment

We take payment at checkout. Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

The text, photographs, artwork, packaging design and branding on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written agreement. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine.

9. Reviews and anything you send us

If you send us a review, a photograph or a message, you keep ownership of it but you give us permission to publish it in connection with the product. We will not attribute a photograph of you to a name without asking first. Do not send us anything you do not have the right to send.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and if you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.

11. If something here is unenforceable

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

12. Governing law
