Post-strip recovery
The dark mark isn't bad luck. It's a chemical reaction — and it has an off switch.
Let us be clear about what this is
This is not a blackhead product. Vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid are hydrators — they do nothing to sebum sitting in a follicle, and any brand telling you a hydrator clears pores is selling you the wrong jar.
It is the recovery half of a two-step routine, and it exists so the first half is something your skin will tolerate twice a week for months.
Why the second step matters
- Peeling is a mechanical event It lifts the plug, and it takes moisture and a little comfort with it. That is why skin can feel tight and look pink for an hour afterwards.
- Vitamin B5 (panthenol) Supports the look of a calm, comfortable surface after something abrasive has happened to it.
- Hyaluronic acid Holds water in the skin, which is exactly what the strip just took away.
- No waiting period Nothing to build up to, nothing to titrate. Use it immediately after peeling, or any night the T-zone feels tight.
Most routines fail on the second step, not the first. The strip is the easy sell; this is the one that decides whether you are still doing it in month three.
What it will not do
It will not clear a pore, reduce congestion, or change your sebum output. It is a hydrator and it is priced like one — the cheapest cream in the range, deliberately.
If congestion is the problem, The Lift is the product that addresses it. This is what makes The Lift sustainable.
Cosmetic product. A hydrator, not a congestion treatment. Full INCI to follow from the supplier specification.
